The state of Georgia provides several valuable resources to help students prepare for the SAT* and for college. It offers free access to an online preparation course to public and private school students as well as home schooled students. In addition, it has created a one-stop shop called GaCollege411 to help students plan, apply and pay for college.

Accessing the Program

Public School Students
Students in public schools receive a pass code from their guidance counselor or principal's office at the beginning of the school year to allow them access to the course. Students who have a pass code from the previous school year can access the Online SAT Preparation Course during the summer at The Official SAT Online Course website.

Private and Home School Students
Students from home schools and accredited private schools are able to request access to the Online SAT Preparation Course. More information is available on the state's SAT/PSAT/AP website.
